Well, my first reaction was "wow- it is BIG!" I just didn't imagine it so MASSIVE, but I got used to that. I like the face a LOT- why don't all watches show the minutes?! This watch face has a very clear, classy, easy to read design that made it worth wearing something so big. At first it looked a little tacky b/c of the rhinestones and enamal on the band. The picture doesn't show the tackiness. But it was accurate and it had a great fit and was actually quite comfortable. Just when I learned to love it, the band broke. My son pulled the two strap pieces the wrong way on their springs and then they wouldn't spring back to keep it tight so it will not stay on my wrist. Granted, it wasn't meant to be used that way, he only did it once and I just wish things were made to last a little better. All in all it was a good deal. But one false move from a kid and you've got a clock, not a watch. Of course since it is more of a clock size than a watch size anyway, maybe it was meant to be.
