This watch came in a nice Diadora package. It actually looks bigger (and so, heavier) than I thought which I like. The face has a diameter of about an inch; the entire face with the adjusting knob probably has a diameter of 1.25in to 1.5in. I had to have a few of the links removed for resizing and it fits me now perfectly. I'm on the computer most of the time so I'm a little picky with the accessories I wear on my wrist or hand but I never felt uncomfortable wearing this watch. The only thing about this design are the little six screws/points outside the even numbers on the face as they are a little sharp, kind of like edges of an empire-cut diamond ring, although, I think they serve as protection to the surface. Regardless, I am still satisfied with this purchase as I have already received many compliments. I like the made - feels really sturdy and the shiny, light blue dial makes it look classier. This watch shows the date and the hands glow in the dark - just as what I need. I'm very happy with this purchase!
