This watch band lasted over a year, which is a long time for me. In the end it didn't even fall off because the reinforcing, lengthwise cording is remarkably tough, even though repeated bending at the fastening caused cracking in the black outer part. Because most leather watch bands have a lifespan of ~6 months on my wrist (and frequently fail in a manner that causes me to lose the watch), I find this band to be a marked improvement. It handles water well and dries out with no ill effects, but looks much classier than the nylon sport bands.
It is slightly longer than average, but the extra length didn't bother me (I always have a significant tail on my watchband, so a cm more or less isn't something I notice often).
