this watch has a large and simple watch face. it is big enough that the hours are very clear even without reading glasses. the watch has a second hand and a day of month display circle which will be easy to maintain on the first of the month. while i like the color which is neutral, the strap I have to say was stiff initially but I think that will settle down and can be changed anyway over time. if you want the thinnest possible watch, this is not for you. if you want simple but stylish everyday watch which you can actually read easily this may be for you. I have been looking for a watch for a while and this is the first one which has met my needs - I wanted big but not huge, a second hand, and a day of the month display and a watch which looked reasonably stylish (not plastic or with 3 different dials etc). mesh does not work for me - just does not feel right,.
