The Hunger Games Movie Watch "Grey Mockingjay" Review

When I purchased this product, I mainly got it to compliment my "costume" to wear to the midnight premiere for the movie. Luckily, I found it for just $10 and I'm happy with that price, since it isn't worth a penny more than that.

Unfortunately, the thick band strap with cover isn't made well. There is a scratchy velcro piece that is never covered. I tried to cover it, but with the Mockingjay design on the outside, that scratchy velcro piece will always be there and can damage your clothing if you rub your arm against whatever you are wearing. Plus the Mockingjay design itself can wear off the band easily after a brief period of time.

However, with all that said...the watch itself is nifty on the simplistic band. To me, that alone is worth $10 because it's a working watch concerning The Hunger Games. Also what's nice is while the watch may appear to have a dead battery/not be working in its sealed package, it actually means NECA has inserted a tiny plastic piece between the winder/crown area so the battery doesn't start until you choose to do so.

All in all, it's a nifty little collector's piece for those who must have it all, but if you only want a modest collection...I suggest choosing something else to show your enthusiasm towards The Hunger Games.
